A Fan Art Contest will be held for the Ulala’s birthday and the 20th anniversary,

accepting submissions based on the theme of “I 💛(LOVE)  Space Channel 5”!

the application period until 23:59 on August 30.

For this competition, “I 💛(LOVE) Space Channel 5(SC5)” themed submissions of fan art such as illustrations, screenshots, crafts, cosplay photos, and goods photos (including past series) related to Space Channel 5 VR (SC5VR) will be accepted for a total of 5 submission categories. Following a strict examination by the SC5VR developers and the management team for this project, the winning entries will be selected. Winners will receive rare goods as prizes and also be posted on this website.

Look back on your gameplay up until now and submit fan art representing fun or happy times you’ve had with the game or your love for SC5 in general in the form of photos or game screenshots. We look forward to receiving your submissions packed with SC5 love.

・Must be an earthling or space alien with love for SC5 in your heart.
・Must consent to all of The Application Requirements and application agreement.

*If you are submitting a craft item, the delivery must arrive by Monday July 6, 2020.

*For categories A – D, an SC5VR character must be a part of the submission.

Application Method

After confirming the application method and application agreement for the applicable category, complete your application on the application page. Fill in all of the required information being careful to avoid any omissions, then attach an image of your submission. Please be aware that any submissions not received through the application page (for example, applications which are mailed, sent using a courier service, or hand-delivered) will not be selected for prizes.

*When your application is completed, you will be considered to have provided consent to all application content and application agreement.
*Submission of works which you have previously posted or made public on your personal Twitter, Instagram, blog, or other social media is acceptable. In addition, you are allowed to post your entry or make it publicly viewable after submission is complete.

Selection

The first screening of entries will be carried out by the SC5VR developers and the management team. Submission which clear the first screening will be displayed at the venue for the planned upcoming music event, “Space Channel 5 Exciting Music Festival,” and the final selections will be made through voting by the event attendees. The developers and management team will determine the grand prize and prize-winning submissions based on the results of this voting. In addition, these submissions will be posted on the SC5VR official site along with the final screening results after this process has been completed.

*Please be aware that it may be impossible to post submissions on the SC5VR official site in some cases. Thank you for your understanding.
*If for some reason the Space Channel 5 Exciting Music Festival music event is canceled, selection of winning entries will be carried out solely by the developers and management team. Please be aware of this.

▶Making submissions public

If you would like to post your submission on a public site such as your blog or social media, please wait until Saturday July 25, 2020 to do so. Please be aware that even if the winners have not yet been announced when you post your submission, if it is later found to have been made public prior to Saturday July 25, 2020, your prizes may be revoked.

▶Prizes

Prizes cannot be received by anyone other than the selected prize-winning applicants themselves.

▶Personal information

Personal information provided in the course of the application process will be strictly managed in accordance with the privacy policy of Grounding Inc. In addition, if you choose to use your real name for the application nickname field, this information will be treated as a nickname, not personal information, and will not be subject to the aforementioned strict management. Please be aware of this.

▶Application submissions

Submissions for which any of the following apply will be excluded from the selection process.

・Refrain from applying with or including comments related to characters other than those appearing in Space Channel 5 VR.
・Submissions which are considered to have diverged from the purpose and theme of this contest.
・Submissions which were created by someone other than the applicant or created by editing the work or someone else.
・Applicants are required to provide a guarantee to this company that their submission designs or the works themselves, either in total or in part, do not infringe on the rights of any third party, including copyrights.
・Submissions which infringe on the rights, copyrights, other intellectual property, or privacy of Grounding Inc., SEGA Corporation, or another third party, or otherwise damage the reputation or public trust of these organizations.
・Submissions with omissions in the required information.
・Submissions which go against public order and morals.
・Submissions for which the management office determines publication would be inappropriate.

▶Copyrights

The worldwide copyrights for all submitted works (including all rights defined in Articles 21, 26, 27, and 28 of the Copyright Act, as well as any rights granted by future revisions or related laws) shall be attributed to Grounding Inc. and SEGA Corporation, who will be free to use them without payment of any licensing or other fees. The creators of the submissions agree not to exercise their author’s personal rights related to the works.

▶Other cautionary points

・No responses whatsoever will be provided for requested related to the content and personal information provided in the application process.
・Regardless of whether your submission is posted, the time period, location, and other aspects of the publication such as the placements and notation of your nickname will be determined solely at the management office’s discretion. Please be aware that we will not accept any inquiries or requests related to changes to your submission or application.
・Applicants hereby consent to modifications to their works if necessary for their use in promotional activities, posting in related publications, and other uses carried out by the management office.
・Displayed works may be taken down from exhibitions or posts without prior notification.
・If a submission is determined unfit for selection after the fact, the applicable work may be taken down from exhibition or posting, and the applicable prize winner may be required to return their prizes.
・The management office bears no responsibility whatsoever for any and all expenses incurred by applications in the application process.
・Please be aware that items mailed to us cannot be returned for any reason.
・When sending items by mail, always use special measures such as photography for handling perishables and three-dimensional items.
